The HLO Podcast: Andrew Fentham

Young English poet and translator of Hungarian poetry Andrew Fentham talks Hungarian poetry and translation with Owen Good in the first of a new series of podcasts for HLO.

The HLO podcast is about Hungarian literature, English translations, and those little bits that fall between the cracks.

 

Andrew Fentham is a writer and translator based in Cornwall, UK. Recent translations from Kinga Fabó, András Gerevich and András Petőcz have appeared in Modern Poetry in TranslationThe Poetry Review and Stand. A debut pamphlet of his own poems, Romanesco (Eyewear), appeared in 2017. Hunglish (Broken Sleep) and With Pen (New Fire Tree) will appear in 2019.
